Father's Day is all about spoiling dad. It's the day that dads are encouraged to lounge in their recliners and spend the afternoon watching sports while their families showers them with gifts. But for Dana's dad, this Father's Day he would be walking his daughter down the aisle. And that was such a wonderful gift for him. As he said in his toast, "All a dad really wants is to see his little girl happy. And Mark makes her so happy."
Dana and Mark are the kind of people you feel comfortable with right away. They are real and honest and true to themselves. They planned a thoughtful and meaningful wedding day, from the ceremony text to the sprig of mint placed on each dinner napkin. And they had a little table set aside in the corner of the room just for us! Dana knows that I don't like to be far from the wedding day action, so planning a table just for us meant that we could sit down and eat without worrying about what everyone in the reception room is doing.
Dana & Mark, You chose June 21 as your wedding day because it's the longest day of the year. I wish you many long years full of happiness together no matter where life takes you! I loved being your wedding photographer!
During the reception, Dana's bridesmaids and the DJ cooked up a little surprise for her. Sugar by Maroon 5 was playing and DJ Chris's assistant Tyler grabbed the mic and sang along! I always feel bad for DJs always being stuck behind the table even though their dance moves are way better than mine, so it was nice to see Tyler let loose a little!
