Glamorous Jewel Toned Wedding Inspiration at the Obici House

Today I'm excited to share a glamorous jewel toned wedding inspiration shoot that our Tuesday's Together group put together last year at the beautiful Obici House in Suffolk. If you've been following me for a while, you know that I LOVE jewel tones, so I was so excited to see this beautiful design! And with marbled fondant on the cake, beautiful calligraphy, sequined table linens, and a stunning model, how could you go wrong?

Well, this post sure got put on the back burner! I am part of the local Tuesday's Together group of the Rising Tide Society, a community for small business creatives. Last June our group put together a styled shoot with two different themes and a bunch of amazing vendors. We had to keep the images under wraps for a while until they were published, and I completely forgot to share them!

Marissa & Adrian ~ Suffolk Wedding Photographer

Walking into the church Saturday morning and getting a big hug from the groom, I knew it was going to be an amazing day. I feel like I say this every wedding, but my couples have amazing friends and family! And Marissa and Adrian picked the most awesome people to stand up for them on their wedding day.

From their wedding ceremony at their church in Suffolk to their portraits in Virginia Beach, this couple had an amazing wedding day surrounded by their loved ones. And my second shooter Jess and I had an amazing time capturing it all!

Jordan & Paige ~ Suffolk Obici House Wedding

I knew from the day they got engaged that Jordan and Paige's wedding would be very special to me. Jordan was Ryan's best man, so I was very honored when they chose me as their wedding photographer. And in the days leading up to the wedding, I could tell they were antsy. They just wanted it to be finally official.

And when the big day finally came and storm clouds threatened the sky, Paige's smile was unwavering. Even when it started to pour. Every time Jordan looked at Paige and every time Paige looked at Jordan, their faces were full of joy. No matter what happened that day. They would be married.

And that's what it was all about anyway.

I love that Paige wanted to do a first look with her dad! So sweet!

You know it's true love when he helps you take your shoes off!

The fabulous wedding party! Also... check out that handsome tall one on the end. I may or may not have hit on him. (Don't recognize him?)

The rain stopped for a few glorious moment outside during the reception.

Father-daughter dances always make me tear up!

The beautiful cake was baked by one of the bridesmaids!

I was so happy to have my wedding photographer, Rebecca Franklin, with me for this wedding. She knows me so well! As I looked through the images I could see time and time again that she knew exactly what I wanted and filled in my collection of images perfectly. Thank you, Becca!
