Choosing a wedding photographer is a big deal. You don’t get a re-do. You don’t get a trial run (unless you count the engagement session). You're completely trusting one person to document one of the biggest days of your life. That's pretty scary!

So we don't take it lightly when someone inquires with us about their wedding day. We want to be upfront with as much information as possible. We want everyone who books with us to be confident in the work that we do and the way we will enhance their wedding day.

Here are a few things you need to know about me before you choose me as your wedding photographer.

-I love detail shots! Photographing your jewelry, shoes, veil, and bouquet introduces me to the style of your wedding and is a great warm-up for me creatively!

-Ryan and I are a husband and wife team. I am the lead photographer and Ryan takes care of so many different things throughout the day!

-We dress like wedding guests, so we can blend in and shoot more candidly.

-I will bring a clipboard with me so I have access to the timeline, the family formal list, and my notes. Organization is one of my love languages!

-I love having 45-60 minutes for romantic bride and groom portraits. That’s why I love first looks so much.

-I will follow the requirements of your ceremony venue and minister. I might not like their rules, but I’ll respect them.

-I will eat a piece of cake. If it’s red velvet, I’ll love you forever.

-When I need to, I will be very vocal, giving direction and posing people for photos. Other parts of the day, we fade into the background so we can capture moments as they happen.

-We build our wedding packages to give plenty of time for each part of your wedding day, because weddings usually run behind. And trust me, you don't want to rush your wedding day. Eight hours of photography sounds like a long time, but it will pass in a blur.

-We love getting to know our couples and miss them after the wedding day. And we try to do a get-together every year so we can see many of them again!

-We will do our best to give you the perfect wedding day.
