Favorite Ring Shots of 2015

Sunday is Valentine's Day, so there's no better time for one final 2015 recap post... my favorite ring shots of 2015! My 2015 weddings and engagement sessions had so many beautiful diamonds (and other stones!) and ring shots are always some of my favorites, because they push me creatively. Here are some of my most creative ring shots from last year!

I love the creaminess of the blurred flower petals!

One thing I love about ring shots is how little tiny elements become so large in the photo. This is just a little pile of ribbon! Also... I'm obsessed with halo settings these days! So pretty!

This was one of those magic in the camera sort of moments. I wanted to highlight Tammy's ring against the texture of the blanket. I didn't even realize until afterwards that each little snowflake would be magnified too!

I love photographing the rings with other jewelry and these pearls were perfect for that!

Sometimes simple elegance is my favorite!

And of course, there has to be a little purple somewhere in here! Invitations and envelope liners also make great backgrounds for ring shots!
