Clouds gathered ominously in the sky as we met at the park. A couple raindrops splashed on our heads as we walked quickly to the bridge where Heather had taken a few of her 'bump update' photos. We worked as quickly as possible, but after about 10 minutes, there was no denying the fact that raindrops were falling. So they quickly posed for one more shot and we decided to try again another day.
Three weeks later, we faced bitter cold and wind, but we powered through the rest of the session anyway. There aren't a whole lot of options when you're having a winter baby. But the rain, the cold, and the wind were all worth it.
Thank you, Paul and Heather, for asking me to do your maternity photos. Your friendship means so much to Ryan and me, and we can't wait for you to become parents. That's one lucky little boy!
