Feature: Tropical Styled Shoot with Sunkissed Events on Tidewater and Tulle

I LOVE styled shoots. Styled shoots are all about inspiring brides with new ideas, new color schemes, and new details. And you know I love details! Photographing a styled shoot for me is like recess for an active fourth grader. Take a break from the division and go run around for a while. I get to shoot without any restraints and be completely creative, while at the same time staying true to my overly organized self and going through a very thorough shot list. (But to be fair, the main reason for the shot list is that we often photograph elements of styled shoots out of order, so I want to make sure I don't miss anything.)

But styled shoots are a lot of work to dream up and put together. I'm in the middle of planning one right now and the to do list is pretty long!

All that to say, when Jill of Sunkissed Events approached me about photographing the shoot she and her intern Maddy had dreamed up, I couldn't say yes fast enough! Jill is an outside of the box thinker and I knew this shoot would not be your average beach or nautical theme. Instead, they were planning a modern tropical theme with palm leaves, shades of brilliant blue, and an ice cream bar!

And our shoot is featured today on Tidewater and Tulle! So if you'd rather be laying out on the beach with a pineapple full of ice cream than sitting in front of a screen, turn some ocean waves on via Noisli, and head over to see the feature
