Oh, to be lucky in love! The inspiration for this shoot began with my beautiful ginger friend and her Claddagh ring. We incorporated Irish heritage and the most beautiful emerald velvet chairs with bronze and pewter elements to give our St. Patrick’s Day inspired shoot a more modern feel.
The bridal shower is often the first big wedding event for the bride-to-be. And since it’s almost always a DIY event, it was important to us that the shoot be filled with beautiful inspiration that would be achievable for brides and their maids.
Cakes by Crystal designed the lovely two tier cake, which we paired with the Irish Blessing print from The Girl Tyler. Tyler incorporated shamrocks into the invitation design as well as a loose coil design, which gave a nod to Celtic knots. To continue that theme, High Voltage Hair wove a beautiful side braid into our bride’s hair to match her braided metal headband and Dhalia Edwards incorporated a shimmery emerald eye shadow into the bride’s makeup. White and green centerpieces by Aleen Floral Design paired beautifully with the floral napkin rings she designed.
I’m so excited to share this shoot today, now that it’s been featured on Tidewater and Tulle for St. Patrick’s Day. And we even have a DIY tutorial for those gorgeous napkin rings! They're a lot easier than they look!
