Tammy and Brent went to high school together, but their love story doesn't begin until years later when Tammy's friends nagged her into creating an account on Match.com. Not convinced that online dating was worth her time, Tammy set up her account at her friends' insistence and discovered a name she recognized among all the profiles. Brent... from Kempsville High School.
Brent's first message to Tammy read, "I believe our paths have crossed before." And before they knew it, they were sitting across the table from one another at a restaurant just down the road from their old high school.
Since Tammy and Brent's story is rooted here in Virginia Beach, it only seemed fitting to keep their engagement session close to home as well. We started the session in their neighborhood park, before moving to a nearby gazebo and finishing the day with a few pictures at the high school.
And we couldn't have planned a better day for their session! I could barely contain my excitement when the snow started to fall, but didn't stick to the roads (for the first few hours anyway). One excited phone call later and we met a couple hours earlier than planned for their session... in the snow!
