Apple pie is my dad's favorite dessert. So naturally, it's something I have had a lot of practice at. After experimenting with several different pie crusts, I finally settled on this amazingly delicious crust recipe by Pam Regentin.
I almost always make a two crust pie, but last time I was making the pie with a friend and she had only made one pie crust. So we dug up a crumb recipe and put our own spin on it.
For our topping we used 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 T of cinnamon, and 2 sheets of graham crackers. The cinnamon and graham crackers gave it just the right touch. It was so yummy we ate the extra topping with spoons!
