I was SO tempted to start this post with something vague like "So I've been hiding something from you guys...", but I know that everybody would just assume I'm pregnant. I can't announce or hint at anything these days without that being someone's first assumption. Oh well.
Anyway, I've been thinking about getting bangs for a couple of years now, but it was such a disaster when I was 10 that I've been very hesitant to pull the trigger. And when I finally did, I wanted to make sure that I really liked them and intended to keep them before I posted a photo online.
And my poor husband had no warning that this was happening, other than the photo I sent him of a small pile of hair on the floor. I wanted to make sure he liked it too, so that's why I waited 3 weeks to finally post a photo of the new "hipster Caitlin."
And now that I look completely different, I suppose I'll need to update my headshots again.
