One prompt from the HRC photo challenge that I was really excited to do was 5 angles of the same subject. I feel like it can be very easy to get stuck in a rut, especially when you shoot with prime lenses. Horizontal, vertical, move on to the next pose.
So when the day came for Stephanie and Jordan's sweetheart session, I was determined to keep the posing simple and focus on angles and focal lengths. And I ended the session a very happy camper.
I loved the result so much that I'm going to try to repeat this idea at all of my sessions and weddings this year. No more ruts!
