If you want to make something really decadent, this is the perfect recipe! I found these Cookie Dough Cupcakes on Pinterest, but the recipe is courtesy of Kevin and Amanda. The cupcakes were inspired by some she had at a bakery.
One of the best things about her cookie dough recipe is that milk replaces the eggs. So feel free to eat any leftover dough! I followed her suggestion to form the cookie dough into tubes instead of balls.
Into the freezer...
....and then into the dough!
See the dough peaking out? Let's cover that with some frosting.
I think my frosting had a little too much butter, because it seemed a little oily, but they were still delicious. I was also pleasantly surprised with my frosting skills.
Also, if you don't want to risk putting on a few pounds, I'd suggest making these for a party or have a plan to share them. I didn't count them, but the recipe makes at least 30. And they're so good, you'll have trouble eating just one!
