Today's Sweet Tooth recipe is Pioneer Woman's blackberry crisp. Well, actually she makes a raspberry crisp, but I used the recipe for blackberries. It was easy and delicious!
Ryan's already asking me to make it again.
I think next time, I'll go a little easier on the sugar to really bring out the tartness of the blackberries and make a half batch of the crumb top. It seemed a little thick on top to me. And then I can tell myself that it's healthy.
Also, if you're thinking of making this, get out to the blackberry farm soon! We picked last weekend and it took twice as long as the first time we went. The berries were everywhere and we were picked up before we finished a row! It's definitely slowed down since then.
