Dana had thought about quitting online dating more times than she could count. Each message that popped up was full of shallow small talk and cheesy pick up lines, and she was sick of it. But something had always kept her from pushing the cancel button. And when a message from Mark popped up one day, the lack of cheesiness grabbed her attention and she agreed to a date. They sat down, ordered drinks and a pizza, and fell into effortless conversation. Before they knew it the restaurant had closed! They decided to finish the night with a game of bowling.... and they closed the bowling alley down too! That was enough for Dana and Mark to realize that they had something real and they didn't want to let it go. And last fall, Mark asked Dana to be his best friend forever. And of course, she said yes!
Dana wanted to do their engagement session at Regent University, where both she and Mark had attended classes. When the scheduled day came, the forecast was calling for rain the whole day. But we decided to roll with it and embrace the rain! And I'm so glad we did!
I can't wait for their Virginia Beach wedding in June!
