Two weeks ago Ryan and I jetted off to Jamaica for a delayed first anniversary trip. We had an amazing time relaxing on the beach, swimming and snorkeling in the ocean, and floating around the lazy river in the water park.

Well, all except for the day that Hurricane Sandy hit the island anyway. We weren't too concerned about the storm. We actually didn't even hear about it until the day before our trip and there was no way that we were calling the whole thing off. And while the hurricane did some damage as it crossed the island, our resort was pretty sheltered on the northern side. Sandy was just a little bump in our otherwise amazing vacation.
